Professional Piano Custom Bass Strings Replacement Individual.

All copper windings on FINEST GRADE PIANO CORE WIRE.

These strings are great when you need to replace a single bass string of your piano.

To determine what size you'll need, you can measure the diameter of the wire with a micrometer or caliper.

For custom string precise measurements are very important.

 


Measurements needed: 

1 Length from Hitch-Pin to start of winding (in inches)
2 Length of Winding (in inches)
3 Diameter of Core Wire (in 1000th of an inch)
4 Diameter of Copper Winding portion of the string (in 1000th of an inch)
5 Piano String number
6 Make of Piano 

  

String number as it lies in the scale can be determined by counting from the lowest bass note in the Piano (No.1) on up the scale toward the Treble section, counting each string individually.


The custom strings are made to order and will take from one - two weeks to be made and shipped to you.

Make sure that you have filled out the string measurements form on this listing.
We will be unable to process your order if this step is not completed.
 
Note: Once you have placed and paid for your order and if you are unable to measure the string or don't have the proper tools to do it, we will be happy to do it for you. We will need the complete string, it cannot be cut off at the hitch. If it happens to be cut off we recommend that you contact your tuning technician for exact measurements. You will need to send us an email and we will send you instructions on how and where to mail your string to have it custom made.

Keep in mind that Bass Strings are custom made and are made with exact measurements provided by you for your specific piano and are delicate and therefore they are not returnable.
